A story of vintages, territories, textures and flavours
Vintages, terroirs, textures and flavours: the artisanal philosophy of Lin des Pyrénées.
Updated on

Lin des Pyrénées had the honour of being selected alongside two other producers from the Pays de Béarn, Ferme Casabonne and Salaisons Loge, to take part in an original food and wine pairing workshop, combining produce from Béarn with wines from around the world.
A moment out of time at La Cité du Vin - Fondation pour la culture et les civilisations du vin (Bordeaux Métropole), an iconic cultural venue dedicated to the world of wine from every corner of the globe.
A huge thank you to the organisers from the Agence de l’Alimentation Nouvelle-Aquitaine (AANA) and La Cité du Vin - Fondation pour la culture et les civilisations du vin, as well as to the friendly members of the hosting team for their convivial and warm welcome. Special thoughts for Stefania Martinez, an outstanding, passionate and fascinating sommelier, for the quality of this workshop and the richness of the discussions.
A wonderful opportunity to discover bold and original pairings:
- Farmhouse sheep’s cheese from the Casebonne farm & Croatian white wine (Istrian Malvasia)
- Extra-lean saucisson from Salaisons Loge & Cretan red wine (Liatiko grape)
- Lin des Pyrénées biscuits - Smoked Béarn chilli from Maison Malnou & Slovak ice wine (Blaufränkisch)
A great moment of exchange and wonderful emotions shared with epicurean participants who were pleasantly surprised and won over!
Proud to have represented Béarn with Lin des Pyrénées and to have showcased the richness and originality of our products in this sumptuous setting for a magical evening
