Our Flax & chilli shortbreads bring flax from Béarn into the savoury world of the aperitif. Crunchy and golden, they combine the hazelnut note of kibbled flaxseed with the gentle warmth of smoked Béarn chilli. A bite both rustic and refined, perfect with a drink among friends. An aperitif shortbread with flax and smoked Béarn chilli

The savoury shortbread is a great aperitif classic: a butter dough, crumbly and melting, that crunches between the teeth. We have spiced it up with two signatures of the South-West: oilseed flaxseed from Béarn, cracked into kibbled seeds for crunch and a hazelnut note, and smoked Béarn chilli, used with restraint to awaken the shortbread without ever overpowering it. From grain to batch, our short supply chain guarantees fresh and traceable raw material. The oilseed flax that flavours our shortbreads is from organic farming, grown without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides, in a short supply chain in the heart of the Pyrenees.
