The Oil and Flour Discovery Gift Box is the ideal companion for curious cooks: it combines our virgin organic linseed oil, to be used cold, and our flax flour made from the press cake, perfect for enriching breads and pastries. Two complementary forms of flaxseed from Béarn, to give to someone close who loves to get hands-on in the kitchen. A gift from the terroir, rooted in the know-how we describe in our story.
What is in the Oil and Flour gift box?
This gift box brings together two distinct and complementary uses:
- our virgin organic linseed oil, cold-pressed, a source of omega-3 ALA for dressings;
- our flax flour, naturally gluten-free, rich in fibre, protein and minerals, ideal for baking and pastry.
The oil enhances cold dishes; the flour is added to bread doughs, cakes and other preparations to give them density and softness.
An acclaimed cooking duo
This gift box carries our house’s Médaille d’Or Best Of Gastronomie 2026, and draws on the inspiration of our ambassador chefs. All our products are from organic farming, grown without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. Note: the flour, made from the press cake, is rich in fibre but contains less omega-3, while the oil mainly provides the ALA. These are foods for pleasure to be included in a varied diet.
Storage and occasions
Linseed oil should be kept in the fridge after opening, away from light, and is never cooked. The flour should be kept dry, in an airtight container, away from moisture.
