A collaboration with meaning and heart

In our production process, everything has been designed and optimised to create very high-quality, high value-added products.

During the final sorting stage before packaging, some seeds are set aside. Not because of their food quality, but because of a simple physical defect (colour, shape, size…).

Unthinkable not to make use of them!

Indeed, in a spirit of responsible performance and a fully circular economy, every co-product of our production chain is put to good use.

Nothing is lost. Everything is transformed. Everything is put to good use!

A cushion born of a conviction

It was with precisely this intention that I wanted to make neck-shaped cushions filled with these "different" seeds… The Lin des Pyrénées "Wellness" cushion was born, or at least its prototype!

The idea: to use it warm like a hot-water bottle, cold to soothe muscle pain, or simply to cool down in very hot weather.

Of course, there is nothing new about it, as cushions like this already exist. But the Lin des Pyrénées "wellness cushion" is unique in its design and making: it had to stay true to a strong conviction, putting people and respect for the planet at the heart of what we do.

An obvious choice: Ecloz, a partner close to our heart

An obvious choice: to have this cushion made by Ecloz, a social and solidarity enterprise based in Pau. A heartfelt partnership that makes sense!

Thank you to Léopold Oliva for the trust he placed in me. He agreed to follow me on a project his teams had never done before in the sewing workshop that had just been set up within Ecloz, masterfully run by Eugénia Ortiz, who brings more than 15 years' experience in the world of Haute Couture. ¡ Claro que sí !

In Eugénia’s expert hands, the simple cushion whose first prototype I had made in a very basic way became, in its final version, the "Wellness Scarf": useful, comfortable, handcrafted, refined and elegant!

When meaning and craftsmanship meet

When the circular economy, social impact, high standards and craftsmanship come together, a simple cushion becomes an object full of meaning.

That, too, is the spirit of Lin des Pyrénées.
